Drama vs. Theatre – What’s Best for 3-6 Year Olds?
Performance Theatre = Fixed roles,
India’s first early-years organisation dedicated exclusively to music, drama, creative arts, and imaginative play – purpose-built for children aged 2–6.
At Tiny Tribes, learning begins with curiosity, movement, music, and imagination. We use drama, storytelling, creative arts, and play-based experiences to help young children explore ideas, express emotions, and build confidence – naturally and joyfully.
Our approach supports early learning skills while nurturing creativity, communication, and emotional awareness in the most meaningful years of childhood.
We empower educators to teach creatively and confidently.
Joyful, enriching experiences beyond academics.
I was just nine years old when I received my first blackboard — and from that moment on, I taught everyone I could find: my siblings, friends, neighbours, anyone willing to sit and learn. Life later took me to New York as a CPA and tax accountant, but becoming a mother brought me back to my earliest calling — teaching.
As I watched my child learn through music, stories, books, art, and endless play, I realised something deeply powerful: play is the true work of childhood. Children don’t learn in spite of play — they learn because of it.
Tiny Tribes was born from this realisation and a heartfelt desire to build a community of like-minded parents, teachers, and schools who believe in creative, joyful learning. Today, Tiny Tribes has touched the lives of thousands of families, educators, and schools, and our dream is to reach every city, town, and village in India.
Because when children learn through play, they don’t just grow academically — they grow into confident, expressive, joyful human beings.

We attended Tiny Tribe’s Pyjama Drama for the first time last week, and my daughter absolutely loved it! Despite it being her first session, she felt right at home and adapted to the environment with ease. The class was engaging, fun, and a wonderful experience for her.Posted on Sayali SawantTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My 5 year old absolutely loves her pyjama drama class at Vashi! This is the 1st time she has agreed to attend a class without any parent involvement. She is the one who reminds me about the class every friday morning and her excitement level is contagious! Once, she even preferred missing a relative's wedding function since it was clashing with her class! The beauty about it is that she gets to use her imagination and the teacher lets the children guide her with their creative ideas. Kudos to the entire Tiny Tribes team for putting up such a thoughtful class which promotes and channelizes imaginative play for our kids. :)Posted on Anupama Bansal AgarwalTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. As a parent seeking to enrich my toddler’s development, I recently enrolled my 13 month old in a musical bonding class. Led by an exceptional teacher (Shweta) this class has been a delightful journey of discovery and joy for both my child and me. I wholeheartedly recommend this music class to any parent seeking to provide their child with a nurturing environment to explore the wonderful world of music.Posted on Jagruti GahalotTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
